III.2 tatra pratyaya ekatānatā dhyānam
A steady continuous flow of attention directed towards the same point or region is meditation (dhyana).
Autumn Equinox is the equilibrium of day and night and this represents the light and darkness in our lives. It occurs when the night and day are equal, and the journey of the Sun to actually arrive at that point, also signifies the journey of the Universe and our internal journey towards the Self.
The Universe exists within us and we are constantly seeking balance. The Fall Equinox provides an opportunity for us to balance ourselves with Mother Earth as we balance light and dark while moving from falsehood to truth.
In this two hour class, Devki Desai will lead is through our own internal equinox by guiding us through chest opening poses to open the heart where love, compassion and courage reside.
Variations will be given for all levels.
Recording will be available for 2 weeks.
Fee: $35; LAST CHANCE FOR Early Bird $25 ends September 26
