January 15 – Focus on Yoga for Depression

February 5 – Focus on Yoga for Stress

“Yoga allows you to find an inner peace that is not ruffled and riled by the endless stresses and struggles of life.” – BKS Iyengar

The start of a new year and the many changes that can bring as well as winter can create a lot of stress or depression for many of us. Even though we try to simplify our busy lives, we all know what it’s like to feel stressed or how easily depression can emerge.

A balanced, nurturing practice can help us build strength, resilience and hope. Physically, the body reacts to stress and practicing certain postures will help to undo the gripping in the internal body as well as the external.

Join Susan Elena for this special 2 part series which will incorporate variations for all levels of experience. You will learn a sequence to support you through postures that are grounding, energizing, strengthening, stimulating, and calming. The reciprocal nature of this practice will help you navigate difficult situations and put you in charge of your mental and emotional well being.

All Levels Welcome. 2 years yoga experience recommended. You can attend one workshop or both.

This is a hybrid workshop so you can attend in- person or online. A recording will be sent to all who attend with 2 week access. In person spaces are limited so be sure to sign up early.

Fee: $30; Early Bird by January 10 – $24– Use Promo Code: EARLYBIRD20
