We are no longer offering the Summer Flow classes – instead we will have a weekly Yoga for Stress Relief class on Thursday evenings.

Elevate your yoga practice this summer with our invigorating Iyengar ropes class. Experience the transformative power of Yoga Kurunta as you explore traditional poses with the support of ropes, deepening stretches, and enhancing alignment. Discover new depths in your practice while cultivating strength, flexibility, and mindfulness. Join us for a unique journey that will leave you feeling energized, empowered, and aligned for the summer season and beyond. All levels are welcome to explore and soar with us! Unwind and rejuvenate this summer with our Iyengar Yoga for Stress Relief classs, designed to harmonize mind, body, and spirit.

Each pose will be carefully designed to promote physical and mental relaxation, with a focus on proper breathing techniques to calm the mind and reduce stress. The class may also include gentle inversions and supported backbends to promote rejuvenation and a sense of well-being. Students are encouraged to move mindfully and attentively, fostering a meditative state that enhances overall relaxation and stress relief.

This intensive is suitable for practitioners of all levels, from beginners to experienced yogis. However, participants should have a basic understanding of yoga asana practice.

Asana for Pranayama Mini Intensive

July 8 – 10th / August 26 – 28th

7:00-8:00am Online Only

In this Asana for Pranayama Mini Intensive, we will learn the important principles for the practice of specific asanas in preparation for pranayama. In the initial stages of practice, some asanas are performed once or twice without holding, so that the movement of the body and the breath are synchronized. Then, it is clearly established with which movement to inhale or exhale; movements that expand the chest and abdominal cavity connect with the inhalation, movements that narrow the chest and abdominal cavity connect with the exhalation.
This type of asana and pranayama practice calms the nervous system, stimulates the glands, increases the capacity of the breath and frees one from physical and mental stress. The mind becomes relaxed, calm and clear.

General level – two years of yoga practice required.
