Iyengar Ignite! Level I/II
Physically engaging, encouraging, well-paced and progressive class ideal for students with at least a year of Iyengar instruction who want to work towards a Level II practice. Learn the depths of Iyengar yoga, how to build confidence and skills in yoga, and establish and sequence a home practice.
Level I/II Iyengar LAB
Intermediate class for those who have been practicing alignment based yoga for a minimum of one year with a solid foundation in standing poses and want to learn to practice inversions, backbends and forward bends. Students will expand their knowledge of Iyengar Yoga in a laboratory environment where we look at how the different category of poses influence one another. Bring your questions and a sense of adventure!
Back Care Series
3 week short courses focusing on different spinal challenges as well the back care principles of lengthening and strengthening the core and spinal muscles. Great for those with spinal imbalances, lower back pain, neck and shoulder pain, sciatica, stenosis or other back care concerns. These courses are designed by and taught by Susan Elena Esquivel, whose expertise in common misalignments is widely respected in the greater Iyengar Community.
